Who We Are
Our Story
- What started as a casual tutoring session between friends in the summer of 2023 has grown into a mission to democratize education. When Kiran and Aidan, two recent high school graduates with years of tutoring experience, helped a friend prepare for the SAT, they recognized an opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives. Drawing on their many years of tutoring experience, they founded Affordable Tutoring Solutions with a bold vision: high-quality education shouldn't be limited by financial barriers. That first summer, they built something remarkable—an AI-integrated scheduling system, a comprehensive standardized test prep curriculum, and a growing community of learners. Word spread quickly, and they have since successfully guided 100+ students toward their academic goals.
- When fall arrived and college beckoned, most would have closed shop. But Kiran and Aidan saw an opportunity to grow. They transitioned to remote operations, brought on talented tutors, and spent their freshman year not just studying but reimagining what tutoring could be. When the SAT went digital, they didn't just adapt—they completely rebuilt their curriculum from the ground up, ensuring their students would have every advantage. This SAT curriculum has since boasted an average score increase of 200+ points and has been instrumental in the journeys of many students.
- Summer 2024 marked a turning point. Armed with a year of insights and a refined vision, they transformed ATS into something greater. They launched cutting-edge learning technologies, introduced their equal opportunity sliding-scale pricing model, and overhauled their entire operational infrastructure. For a year, they saved up to 30% of all income generated to launch a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free services to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and run internship programs that would further empower other students to make a difference in their community. In May 2025, they launched ATS Educational Access Fund (ATS-EAF), a separate non-profit organization dedicated to expanding educational access beyond traditional boundaries starting.
- Today, Affordable Tutoring Solutions stands as proof that when passion meets purpose, barriers fall. We're not just helping students ace tests or master subjects—we're building bridges to opportunity, one student at a time. And this is just the beginning!

ATS Enterprises Growth & Initiatives
Initiative #1: Title I Tutoring Internship
ATS-EAF plans to launch a transformative initiative with a Title I school—public schools with significant concentrations of low-income students—in Central Florida. Through our ATS-EAF and the curriculum here at ATS, we hope to help offer free tutoring, especially in SAT/ACT preparation, to enhance the educational outcomes of these students and broaden their future opportunities. In the 2024-25 academic year, ATS allocated up to 30% of all our income to help establish a paid internship program that would enable high-achieving high school and college students to provide this crucial service to low-income students who need it the most.
Initiative #2: Early Readers Program for Title 1 School
Building on our commitment to educational equity, ATS-EAF plans to launch an Early Readers Program targeting literacy development in Title I elementary schools throughout Central Florida. This initiative will pair trained tutors with K-3 students who are struggling with reading fundamentals, providing one-on-one support during critical developmental years. By intervening early with personalized reading instruction, we aim to close the literacy gap that disproportionately affects children from underserved communities, setting them on a path to lifelong academic success.
Initiative #3: DEI Training to Expand Tutoring Scope
Once we have established a robust team of tutors and secured sufficient funding at both ATS and ATS-EAF, we plan to invest in specialized certifications and DEI training. This will enable us to expand our tutoring services to include students with special needs and specific learning disabilities, ensuring we can truly reach and support every member of our community.
